Integrative Pain Institute is a Mind & Soul company providing personalized, non-surgical pain management in Miami, Florida. Located in South Miami, the clinic is led by Rafael Padro, AP, a board-certified Acupuncture Physician. We offer acupuncture, shockwave therapy, Prolozone therapy, NAD+ IM therapy, EMS therapy, and personalized supplement support. We help adults with back, neck, joint, nerve, and sports-related pain, and our care combines Traditional Chinese Medicine with appropriate Western clinical principles in one individualized plan.
Pain is rarely the whole story. It may be influenced by multiple factors at once — physical, lifestyle, movement, injury-related, and mind-body. Rather than claiming a single root cause for every patient, we look at the contributing factors that shape your pain and your recovery.
Our approach combines Traditional Chinese Medicine — including acupuncture and the principles of balance and whole-body function — with appropriate Western clinical principles. We consider your symptoms, history, movement, lifestyle, stress, sleep, activity level, and personal goals to understand what may be contributing to how you feel.
Understand your symptoms, history, limitations, and goals.
Assess relevant physical, lifestyle, movement, and mind-body factors.
Recommend an individualized treatment plan when clinically appropriate.
Monitor your response and adjust recommendations as needed.
Treatment suitability, results, and timelines vary by patient and condition.

Our Provider
Rafael Padro, AP, is a board-certified Acupuncture Physician at Integrative Pain Institute, a Mind & Soul company in Miami, Florida. He earned his Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from The Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Excelsior College.
Dr. Padro’s approach combines the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine with appropriate Western clinical knowledge. A third-generation healthcare professional, he was drawn to integrative care because it allows him to see the whole person rather than a single symptom. He holds additional certifications in Prolozone therapy, NAD+ therapy, and Neuro Emotional Technique (NET), which support his work with chronic pain, cellular wellness, and the mind-body connection.
In practice, Dr. Padro emphasizes listening first. He takes time to understand each patient’s history, limitations, and goals, then explains options clearly before any treatment begins. His focus is patient education and individualized care — helping people improve function, movement, and quality of life through a plan built around them. Results vary, and he reassesses each patient’s response over time to keep recommendations appropriate.
